Meet our Staff
Michelle R., CVT : Providing comfort to
our fearful patients is one of the areas that
Michelle loves, and excels. Growing up in St.
Charles, MN Michelle had moved away to
pursue her interest in business management.
However, she decided to jump off the
corporate ladder to follow her heart and land a
position as a veterinary technician. She moved
back to Rochester to be closer to family.
Melissa K., CVT : Clients services are Melissa's
favorite part of her job. Melissa grew up in
Rochester, MN, graduating with an Associate degree
in Applied Science from Rochester Community
Technical College in 2007. She has grown up with
and loved pets since childhood.
Cheyan H., CVT : Cheyan grew up near Lake
Zumbro, outside of Mazeppa, MN. Though her
family didn't always plan on having pets, they let
Cheyan keep the ones she brought home. Her
family encouraged her 7th grade plan to become a
veterinary technician. Upon graduation, she
immediately attended RCTC and earned her
certification in 2006. Cheyan most enjoys working
with the patients.
Robyn M., Receptionist : With an older brother
who is a veterinarian, Robyn has had "animals in her
blood" from the get-go. She has worked in the
Rochester area in the fields of Grooming, Boarding and
Veterinary Reception for over 20 years. Robyn also
has experience with training and showing dogs. Her
first dog came before she was in kindergarten, and she
has had at least one ever since. Thinking of herself as
more of a dog person, Robyn developed a genuine
appreciation for cats. "Her kids" are currently four
dogs and two cats.
Christine (Chrissy) L., VT :
A Byron native, Chrissy's inspiration
for employment in the veterinary field
was caring for her own pets. She has
had horses, dogs and cats her entire
life and enjoys them all. Having
worked as a veterinary receptionist in
the Rochester and surrounding area
for 10 years, Chrissy is currently
seeking a Veterinary Technician
Certification through RCTC.
Terri L., VT : Terri graduated from Bel-Rea
Institute of Animal Technology in Denver, CO in
1974. After graduation, she worked in one of the
first Animal Emergency Hospitals in Denver for 2
years as well as 2 private practices. She has
loved animals all of her life. At 4 years, she
started practicing bandaging methods with her
own dogs and cats. The past few years she has
been involved in Therapy Dog work with Milo,
and Agility trials with both Milo and KayCee.
Terri has 6 beautiful Old World German
Shepherds and 9 kitties ranging from 1 yr. to 20
years old.
Melissa (Missy) G., CVT : Missy's goal
since high school was to be a veterinary
technician in order to care for injured and sick
patients and to keep patients happy and
healthy. She graduated from high school in
1996 and received her Veterinary Technician
certification in 1999. Since graduation, she has
been in small animal and emergency practice.
She enjoys all aspects of her career and her
cheerful attitude shows it.
Annette P., Groomer : In 1995 Annette
received her Veterinary Technician
Certification from Willmar Technical College.
She finished grooming training the same year
and has been grooming professionally ever
since her graduation. She enjoys all aspects
of grooming and her favorite part is watching
dogs do the fresh hairdo "happy dance" for a
pleased owner at pickup time. Annette's
grooming specialty is hand stripping. She is
one of the only groomers in the area who
performs this specialized technique.
